Programs – SELS

Our Social Emotional Life Skills programs take place with small groups of people who meet together in person, while also meeting online with other small groups in other places who working on similar projects. We like to do these over a meal.

The most immediate need is volunteers for the Save Our Seniors project.

Digital Outreach (DO) are experiential in-person/online six-week workshops

that immerse you in “Learning by DO-ing”. Three examples are shown below.

While you can do these at home, it is far more powerful to learn together in small groups, combining the power of “in-person” and online learning.

We use the IMAGES–Individual Management Achievement Goals Essential Skills—Social Emotional Learning program curriculum, designed to assist individuals in discovering “Who Am I?” and the 5 Keys to Success. Participants engage in self-assessments and community-based living labs.

The NextREADY Graduate Profile System allows students and teachers to provide evidence of student readiness in three areas: Personal Effectiveness, Applied Academics and Workplace Competencies. Evidence is included by design in the development of Capstone projects.
