Time and Love – ASCEND Timebank

• Since all of us have only 24 hours in a day, and no one seems to have any “extra” time for anything else, ASCEND consciously designs our programs to ask for one hour of your time, as your schedule allows.

• Since daily practice is the most powerful way of making progress towards any goal, we provide daily opportunities for you to choose from.

Our current state of society has frozen people in fear, isolation and uncertainty. Federal and many other philanthropic sources have frozen their funding. Therefore it is up to us to provide what’s needed.

ASCEND Timebank supports 100% New Mexico Initiatives in counties of San Juan, Chaves, McKinley and Santa Fe. All other 100% New Mexico counties are welcome to join.

ASCEND facilitates the exchange of skills and experience within a community, valuing and rewarding the work done in the “core economy” of family, neighborhood, and community. We formally and tangibly recognize the economic value of labor services that are not traditionally traded in the formal monetary economy, but that often form the basis of valuable social capital.
