Dr. Helen E. Wakefield developed the I.M.A.G.E.S program, now in use by the Pecos Valley Counseling Service. ASCEND uses the IMAGES–Individual Management Achievement Goals Essential Skills—Social Emotional Learning program curriculum, designed to assist individuals in discovering “Who Am I?” and the 5 Keys to Success.
Assessments are accessed online as activities guiding participants to their “Strengths vs. Weaknesses,” “Likes vs. Dislikes,” “Career Choices,” and “Personal Awareness” characteristics. Participants engage in self-assessments and community-based living labs.
