What is Courage?

Courage is not the absence of fear — it is moving forward in the presence of it. In the Hand of Learning, Courage (Belonging/Courage) is the quality that allows you to enter unfamiliar spaces, try things you might fail at, and speak when silence would be easier. Courage is what makes belonging possible: you can’t fully arrive somewhere you’re afraid to enter.
